More about us

Four women sitting around a wooden table, working on laptops. One woman is taking notes with a pen, another is typing on her laptop, and two are looking at their screens. There is a vase with pink tulips and yellow flowers, a white desk lamp, smartphones, a closed book, and glasses on the table. The setting appears to be an office or a meeting room with wooden flooring.

We have been there - do I start my private practice right away, do I join a group practice, do I take insurance or private pay, what are all of these companies offering contract roles really all about?

We believe therapists make great business owners and owning a private practice is not the best for all therapists. We will help you explore this question and figure out what the best fit for you might be for right now. The decision to own your practice can be overwhelming - we want to support your decision making by reducing the noise, set clear expectations, and partner with you as a mentor.

We want to fill the gap in learning about what it means to have a private practice, things to consider, and provide access to knowledge that will help you make an informed decision. Whether or not you decide that now is the time, the information provided will give you insight into the business of mental health practice.
