Orca Health Partners is led by Janelle Jensen, LMFT and group practice owner of Orca Counseling. Janelle’s past experience and adventures (a nice way of saying mistakes and learning!) as a private practice owner and then as a group practice owner have culminated in a desire to create relationships with other therapists who desire to build a private or small group practice and understand the value of support.
Owning a business of any size can be wonderful, scary, lonely, exciting, and emotional. There are groups and companies ready to act as a service provider for you, which is the right option for some, but not everyone is ready to hand over monthly revenue when they have the skills to drive their own business experience and stick to their vision for how they want to provide mental health care in their community. We believe therapists make great business owners and with a little support along the way and an openness to learn, can find success in their first year.
